If you have a good competitive moveset for Diancie, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

Diancie Pokédex and learnset for reference.

Haha Fizz, what a legend xD
why the downvote?
ikr.. (Filler)

First time I've ever seen a move set question in the negative!
Back when I used to do the moveset questions, some of them would be in the negative.
Wow, really?

(Idk what's the biggest shock: Knowing that moveset questions had down votes, or that trachy answered xD)

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Diamond Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]

This set allows Mega Diancie to function as a mixed sweeper, Naive Nature increases it's Speed while decreasing it's Special Defense. Hasty Nature, which increases Diancie's Speed, while decreasing it's Defense can be run in opt of Naive, however Naive is the preferred option.

Moonblast and Diamond Storm are STAB, Earth Power covers Steel-types- most notably, Heatran- which would completely wall you without it. Earth Power also allows Mega Diancie to hit Electric- and Rock-types super effectively. Hidden Power [Fire] allows Mega Diancie to hit Pokémon it wouldn't otherwise be able to hit, this includes hitting Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Scizor (on the switch in).

Edit: I just realised that Diancie apparently gets Earth Power from the ORAS Move Tutors, so choose Hidden Power Fire over Hidden Power Ground and get rid of Psyshock for Earth Power. The above moveset should be sufficient until ORAS comes out though.
I'd Post my Mega Diancie, but this basically sums mine up. +1'd!
Thanks.
The only thing  that bothers me about this set is that HP fire lowers your Speed IV, which prevents you from speed tying with other Pokemon in the Base 110 Speed benchmark.  Not that HP Fire is a bad option though.  I put Calm Mind there because Diancie can usually sweep at just +1
@97eml1 I am from the future. In my timeline, due to hyper training, no worries of static lowering

This is a good set for my Ampharos! Thank you! A lot people expect me to mega evolve this thing. Nope.  lol
A little bit late, but..
...Ampharos? Ampharos with Diamond Storm and Clear Body?
I'm confused.

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body ---> Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Explosion
- Moonblast
- Earth Power

Was thinking of a fully physical set, but tbh it's practically impossible to make a good dedicated set with Diancie. Max Attack and Speed make it physically based, while Naive allows Moonblast and Earth Power to deal decent damage. Diamond Storm is great STAB and Explosion is possibly my favourite move, and with Mega Diancie's base 160 Attack stat hits very hard.

Diancie is based >:O

enter image description here
Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Rock Polish

REJECT THE SMOGON DIANCIE

Rock Polish lets Mega-Diancie sweep opposing teams with a little initial help in removing counters. Moonblast is obligatory STAB that allows to bash anything that doesn't resist it is specially bulky. Earth Power smacks Metagross, Magnezone and all them other scrub things nice and hard >:O. Diamond Storm is the move to beat annoying crud like Talonflame e.e.

A Timid Nature is used to maximise speed, in order to speed tie with the likes of Latios before using Rock Polish and to preserve bulk. The attack drop caused is barely noticeable, as Diamond Storm will only really be used to bash apart things like Talonflame. Most OHKOs, 2HKOs and 3HKOs using Diamond Storm remain the same, with or without a neutral/reducing nature, so moar bulk pl0x! EVs max out Offensive stats, and remaining 4 chucked onto HP.

This set can't beat Ferro without it being seriously weakened, but hey, what are teammates for o3o. Also this one sweeps so much better >.< since it can't be revenge killed by dumb things like Greninja and Scarf Magnezone after a Rock Polish ;I!

by
Shouldn't be Naive or Hasty instead of Timid? Timid lowers Attack and Diamond Storm is Physical o3o
Like I said, the attack drop is barely noticeable in my answer. The ony things which you'll be majorly going after are like Talon, which die to Diamond Storm with or without the nature. It's more important to maintain bulk in order to switch in a little bit easier, and defense helps tanking Talonflame, which Diancie is an excellent check to
In spite of what you say there's no reason to really not run  Naive Nature and the Sp. Defense drop is not very significant, whilst The Attack Drop is there whenever you attack with Diamond Storm.  Just because it can KO Talonflame or other things 4X weak to Rock with a Timid Nature doesn't mean that the Attack Drop is irrelevant, since you can still very easily end up hitting something else when they switch out for less damage than you could be doing, and makes it much less spammable.  On top of that, since the drop is  minuscule, there  is no practical special priority in the game, and it has weaknesses to Grass, Ground, Steel, and Especially Water, the scenario where the Sp. Defense boost provided would prove beneficial is virtually nonexistant in OU.

Diancie
Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute / Ancient Power
- Moonblast
- Earth Power

Sub + Calm Mind. Substitute can be replaced with Ancient Power, but I personally don't use it. Moonblast is STAB, and Earth Power is neccesary to avoid being completely walled by Steel-types.
The EVs are standard fully Defensive, because Special Attack can be boosted by CM, and makes this guy an amazing bulky sweeper. You could shift some of the Defense EVs to Special Attack though, because it is already so high.

Gen 8 NU

Diancie @ Power Herb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rock Polish
- Meteor Beam
- Moonblast
- Earth Power

I saw this set a few times, and it's a pretty fun set. Rock Polish is to boost your speed. Meteor Beam is STAB that raises your special attack and can be used in one turn thanks to Power Herb. Moonblast is STAB that nails fighting types. Earth Power is for coverage against poison and steel types like Dragalge, Salazzle, Toxicroak, Copperajah, and Heatproof Bronzong.

This is for a Diancie that does not Mega Evolve. Its Attack and Speed are greatly boosted upon Mega Evolving, so in that case an offensive moveset may easily work better. In this case, though, I see it as a wall with ability to wait out even powerful sweepers.

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

Reflect and Light Screen both play to Diancie's enormous defenses, which are as high as Aegislash Shield Form's. Stealth Rock is an entry hazard, of course. Toxic is for whittling down your opponents while Diancie watches safe in it's high defenses and barriers.
Keep in mind, Diancie is a slow Pokemon, so you may want to set it up with a Trick Room before you send it out.

So, before I list the nature , EVs, etc. I want to point out how defensive Diancie is. Yeah, I know it's quite obvious if you know your stuff, but it does have some offensive potential, given that it's "signature" move is Diamond Storm, which has 100 base power and 95 accuracy. It's basically a better Stone Edge + STAB, and can pack a decent punch, while having a 50% chance to raise your Defense, so EV training Diancie in Defense is redundant.

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Protect
- Stealth Rock
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast / Toxic

This is a moveset that I use in Pokémon Showdown. I think it's awesome for a sweeping Diancie!

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Earth Power

Psychic is Poison-type coverage.
Diamond Storm is for pesky Baton Pass Scolipedes.
Moonblast is because Wynaut?
Earth Power is Steel-/Poison-type coverage.

Hopefully this helps out any Trainer that wishes to use Diancie as a sweeper.

You don't need Psychic if you have Earth Power anyway
Well, maybe Psychic can be used for fighting types lol
A bullet punsh   from a metagross or a meditsham would 1HKO it

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body ---> Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 90 Atk / 34 Def / 100 SpA / 34 SpD
Brave Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish

Mega Evolve after Rock Polish is used. If you know you're gonna get KO'd, then don't use Rock Polish and just Mega evolve and try to get at least one attack in.
- Diamond Storm-(STAB and signature move. Fire, Bug, Flying, and Ice type coverage. Use this whenever you can. This move has a 50% chance to raise your defense by two stages to maybe help you survive a physical steel type move, this has happened for me many times. In double battles, Diamond Storm will hit all foes).
- Moonblast-(STAB. Dark, Fighting, and Dragon type coverage. This move has a chance to lower the target's Sp. Atk).
- Earth Power-(Electric, Rock, Fire, and Steel type coverage. This move has a chance to lower the target's Sp. Def).
- Rock Polish-(Use this before you Mega Evolve because when you Mega Evolve your defenses get lowered to raise other stats. If you're gonna take a hit and use this move, its best to do it when you're bulky. After using Rock Polish and Mega Evolving, Mega Diancie's Speed will be 460).

Doubles OU

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Diamond Storm
- Body Press
- Protect
- Trick Room

Diamond Storm is a powerful STAB spread move and has a high chance to increase Diancie's defence, which can later be abused with Body Press. Protect is one of the best moves in doubles, if the not best, and keeps Diancie safe for a turn while it's ally attacks or sets up. Trick Room allows Diancie and its allies to take advantage of their low speed.

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire

Moonblast is STAB. Earth Power is for coverage against steel and poison types. Mystical Fire is also coverage that allows you to hit Pokémon like Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight super effectively. Calm Mind is to boost your special attack and special defense.

Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire
- Power Gem

Choice Specs Diancie. Moonblast is for fairy STAB. Earth Power is for coverage against poison and steel types like Copperajah, Dragalge, Salazzle, and Heatproof Bronzong. Mystical Fire allows you to deal with Escavalier and Levitate Bronzong. Power Gem is for rock STAB.

Gen 8 NU

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 100 SpD / 156 Spe
Careful Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Heal Bell
- Stealth Rock / Body Press

Usually Diancie runs Stealth Rock, Diamond Storm, Body Press, and Moonblast / Heal Bell. That means Diancie is walled by one of the newest Pokemon in the tier, Doublade. However, with Earth Power, you can 2HKO Doublade. Diamond Storm is for rock STAB and allows you to get a +2 defense boost. Heal Bell provides support for you and your teammates. Stealth Rock helps chip opposing Pokémon coming in. Body Press can be used to take advantage of your defense boosts. The EV spread allows you to have a slightly better matchup against Glastier and Vaporeon while still allowing you to check non Hydro Pump Exploud.

Gen 8 NU

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 16 SpA / 200 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Power Gem
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell

A physically defensive Stealth Rock set that uses Power Gem over Diamond Storm. Stealth Rock is setting up rocks which helps offensive Pokemon on your team. Power Gem is used over Diamond Storm on this set because the damage Diamond Storm does to Xatu can simply be healed by Roost. Power Gem also has a higher BP, meaning Xatu can't PP stall out your rock STAB, which is what it usually does to Diancie's Diamond Storm. Moonblast is for fairy STAB. Heal Bell provides support to the team by curing status condition.

Painpass Diancie (GEN 8)

This is a Diancie i've been using for Baton pass teams in Gen 8 and really enjoy creating literal tanks with it. Basic idea is to switch in after a feint, use either Amnesia or Iron defense to beef up the primary attacking stat of the attacker, raise the other, then baton pass.

Diancie @ Babiri Berry / Chesto berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Amnesia
- Iron Defense
- Rest / Substitute

Gen 9 NU Demon Set

Diancie @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD or 252 HP / 168 SpD / 88 Spe
Sassy / Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Diamond Storm / Iron Defense
- Body Press / Stored Power
- Draining Kiss

An updated(?) version of the Demon set themodernage posted. This set is to be used in Gen 9 NU. Diamond Storm is usually used over Iron Defense since the combination of Diamond Storm + Body Press doesn't let the opponent immediately know you're the demon set, and by the time they do find out, Diancie has most likely boosted up to the point opposing Pokemon can't break past it as easily. Diamond Storm also lets Diancie hit Chandelure super effectively, which is really useful to get rid of. Iron Defense can be used instead with Stored Power of Body Press to take advantage of all of Diancie's boosts. Body Press takes advantage of Diancie's boosted Defense Stat and lets it hit Steel-types such Registeel, Copperajah, and Duraludon. Draining Kiss is used for the Fairy STAB since it lets Diancie recover HP, with its low HP stat allowing Diancie to recover more HP with Draining Kiss. Tera Steel is used to allow Diancie to have an immunity to Toxic.

The EV spread and Nature you use depends on if you use Diamond Storm + Body Press or Iron Defense + Stored Power. If you use Diamond Storm + Body Press, use Sassy Nature and the 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD EV spread. If you use Iron Defense + Stored Power, use Calm Nature with 252 HP / 168 SpD / 88 Spe. The EV spread with the Speed EVs allow Diancie to outspeed Sylveon that aren't using any Speed EVs.

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body ---> Magic Bounce
EVs: 30 Atk / 226 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Electric] / [Ice] / [Fire]

Diamond Storm is a great STAB option, plus the 50% chance to double defense basically invalidates Hasty nature's defense drop. Moonblast is other STAB, destroys Dragons that aren't weak to Diamond Storm, like Garchomp. Earth Power demolishes Steel types, and with a speed stat higher than almost all heavy metals, it usually gets the drop on them. Now, onto the Hidden Powers. Electric mauls Water types, Ice shatters Ground and Grass types, while Fire melts Steel and Grass types. So, I'll say this once again, pick your poison.
